Key Responsibilities
- As a QA Intern at FRND, you will be mentored by senior engineers and take ownership of critical software testing milestones:
- Test Design & Execution: Authoring comprehensive functional test plans and executing manual test cases based on newly defined Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
- Functional & Feature Testing: Performing end-to-end user experience testing, feature verification, and boundary-value tests on web, mobile, and built-in interactive gaming systems.
- Defect Management: Identifying software anomalies, drafting clear and detailed bug reproduction steps, and logging issues inside project tracking boards.
- Data Validation: Utilizing basic SQL queries to verify backend game metrics, profile databases, and transaction tables.
- Regression Testing: Executing comprehensive regression sweeps before major builds and release cycles to ensure existing features remain stable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Syncing closely with software developers, UI designs, product managers, and senior QA engineers to verify fixes and ensure release readiness.
Skills & Eligibility
- To qualify for the FRND QA Internship, candidates should exhibit solid logic, a detail-oriented focus, and foundational knowledge of testing systems:
- Academic Foundation: Graduation in any academic stream. A strong logical core and passion for technology products are key.
- Core QA Concepts: Clear, basic understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design, standard bug-reporting formats, and expected vs. actual behavior mapping.
- Technical Competency: Basic knowledge of database systems and standard SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
- Interface Domain: Foundational familiarity with mobile application testing concepts, UI/UX flows, and responsive design behaviors.
- Productive Tech Adaptability: Active interest in utilizing modern AI-assisted tools to optimize test-case generation and overall testing productivity.
- Key Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written English communication skills to document reproduction steps and interface with developers.
- Familiarity with functional testing tools on Android and iOS devices.
- Hands-on or project exposure to project management/tracking suites like Jira and Notion.
- A genuine interest in gaming platforms, social networking applications, or interactive entertainment products.
