Job Description

As a QA Intern at Deloitte, you will be an essential part of the Digital Excellence Centre, ensuring that our application components are robust, scalable, and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with team members across different infrastructure layers to identify potential bugs and maintain a high-quality codebase. This role is perfect for those who have a keen eye for detail and are eager to learn how professional-grade software is validated before it reaches the end-user.
Your daily tasks will include supporting team initiatives, participating in collaborative problem-solving sessions, and contributing to the development of high-quality products. You will gain hands-on experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) , working with quality engineers and product managers to understand technical requirements. This internship provides a structured environment to apply your analytical thinking and build a strong foundation in Quality Engineering within a top-tier MNC.

Assist in building and maintaining a high-quality, bug-free codebase.
Ensure application components are robust and meet quality standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure layers.
Contribute to collaborative problem-solving for platform enhancements.
Write and execute basic test cases for new features and updates.
Support internal quality initiatives and document findings for senior engineers.
Learn to use industry-standard bug-tracking and testing tools.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or currently pursuing the same.
Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills and a logical mindset.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Detail-Oriented: A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Testing (Preferred): Basic understanding of software testing methodologies.
Tools (Preferred): Familiarity with writing test cases or using bug-tracking tools.
Soft Skills: Effective time management and a proactive learning attitude.
