As a Network Engineer, depending on business needs, your specific skill set, and preference, your responsibilities may include:
Working hands-on with cutting-edge Cisco equipment and remaining at the forefront of technological innovations.
Becoming a strategic partner to enterprise customers, helping save their businesses from the impact of network incidents.
Solving complex technical issues and actively preventing their recurrence.
Writing highly technical documents, building out Cisco’s online technical knowledge base, and contributing to collaborative platforms to help users maximize their tech investments.
Managing and continuously optimizing existing networking infrastructures.
Proactively mitigating and preventing network-impairing incidents before they escalate.
Skills & Eligibility
You are a recent graduate or in your final year of studies towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech).
Strict Batch Criteria: This requirement is exclusively for the 2027 passout batch.
Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written).
Deeply passionate about networking, information technology, or computer science.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
Ability to multitask, operate as a self-starter, work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment, and work independently.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites (travel frequency will vary based on your role and technology team).
Bonus Skills: Knowledge of adjacent technologies or holding industry-recognized Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a significant plus.
