Job Description
As an Associate Software Engineer at Altera, you will function as a Full Stack Web Developer , writing high-quality and testable code. Your primary technical focus will be on Microsoft .NET and .NET Core for backend services, combined with Angular for modern frontend interfaces. You will be responsible for developing complex SQL queries and ensuring that all web technologies—from Web APIs to Entity Framework—work seamlessly together to deliver a robust user experience.
Working within an Agile team , you will contribute directly to planning, implementation, and process improvements. This role requires a strong interest in emerging technologies, specifically AI agents and autonomous systems . You will be expected to explain technical complexities to various stakeholders and maintain a high standard of software design. From optimizing cloud-native services in Azure/AWS to refining UI components with KendoUI, you will play a key role in the continuous evolution of digital health technology.
Key Responsibilities
Develop efficient, testable code using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core .
Build and maintain responsive frontend architectures using Angular and KendoUI.
Design and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases.
Implement secure backend services using Web API and Entity Framework.
Participate in all phases of the Agile lifecycle, including planning and testing.
Research and experiment with AI technologies and autonomous agents.
Collaborate with senior engineers to drive software design excellence.
Support cloud-based deployments on platforms like Azure or AWS.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering branches.
Experience: 1 to 2 years in professional software development.
Backend: Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
Frontend: Strong skills in Angular , JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Database: Solid knowledge of SQL Server and complex query development.
Cloud: Basic understanding of Azure or AWS environments.
Tools: Familiarity with JSON, KendoUI, and version control systems.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and effective technical communication.
