As an Engineering Intern at Stryker, you will function as an individual contributor within an active engineering squad, performing the following core operations:
Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing system software tools, advanced system applications, cloud-based utilities, and operating system components.
Analyzing system requirements to ensure that all developed applications meet stringent corporate quality metrics and healthcare data security standards.
Applying professional theoretical expertise and sound judgment to independently execute tasks under structured engineering guidance.
Supporting the rollout and monitoring of system optimizations to systematically drive scale, performance, and efficiency.
Assisting in drafting clear, robust technical documentation, software engineering standards, guidelines, and reference procedures.
Actively learning and adopting new internal technical frameworks, tooling, and healthcare regulatory demands under team mentorship.
Skills & Eligibility
Degree Requirement: Must be pursuing or completed a full-time Master of Technology (M.Tech) program.
Eligible Specializations: Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology, Software Engineering, or closely related technical post-graduate streams.
Core Computer Science: Thorough and strong understanding of foundational Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
Programming Knowledge: Practical, hands-on coding literacy in languages like Java, Python, C, or C++.
Operating Systems: Good conceptual and administrative understanding of Linux or Windows operating system environments.
Software Lifecycle: Familiarity with general Software Engineering methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models.
Problem Solvers: Analytical approach to go beyond surface-level fixes and identify core root causes, developing upgrades to prevent recurrent issues.
