Key Responsibilities
- Infovision is seeking an SDET to ensure software quality by designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and product teams to build reliable test automation and support high-quality software releases in cloud-based environments. This role reports to the Lead – Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create detailed test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, report, and track software defects meticulously through to resolution.
- Collaborate actively with development and product teams to continuously improve software quality.
- Validate API, UI, and complete end-to-end application functionality.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by consistently running and maintaining automated test suites.
- Participate in structured release validation across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate test documentation, reports, and defect records.
- Continuously improve existing testing processes and integrate modern AI-assisted testing practices.
Skills & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field ( B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA ).
- Experience with modern test automation tools and AI-assisted development/testing tools.
- Exposure to distributed or cloud-hosted applications is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC methodologies.
- Experience with both manual and automation testing.
- Thorough knowledge of API, UI, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application environments.
- Experience with robust automation frameworks and relevant scripting/programming languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile work environment.
