Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 technical support through phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using the Incident Management System.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 2 and Level 3 support teams.
  • Follow up on escalated issues and ensure closure within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Perform user account provisioning and account management activities.
  • Provide remote desktop support according to defined Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and support staff to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis for escalated or recurring issues.
  • Resolve tickets independently within agreed SLA and quality parameters.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain required technical documentation, configurations, standards, and knowledge articles.
  • Contribute to knowledge-base updates and training activities.
  • Support training and coaching of freshers or junior analysts where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience, CSAT, and First Call Resolution.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Service Desk Analyst:
  • Graduation must be completed.
  • Candidates should have no pending backlogs.
  • 6 months to 5+ years of full-time relevant IT support experience is required.
  • Internship or apprenticeship experience will not be considered as the required experience.
  • Candidates who have previously attended HCLTech recruitment processes for this role may not be eligible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in technical support.
  • Exposure to networking fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for client software and end-user computing environments.
  • Ability to prioritize, evaluate, and manage customer incidents effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous training and departmental development initiatives.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on problem resolution quality.
  • Graduation must be completed.
