During your internship कार्यकाल at Emerson, you will be integrated into the global operational team and handle the following functions:
Supporting critical global supplier development programs under the direct guidance of regional supply chain line managers and corporate stakeholders.
Collaborating smoothly with Product Supply Chain Leaders, designated Material Buyers, Inventory Managers, and global Quality units to audit supplier reliability indices.
Assisting in deploying performance-improving toolkits across partner networks, with a close eye on safety regulations, technical documentation accuracy, and operations auditing.
Analyzing complex supplier performance data matrix sets to point out emerging efficiency trends, supply gaps, or structural improvement windows.
Monitoring and tracking strategic corporate operational metrics such as supplier on-time delivery rates, product quality scores, and material supply resilience.
Assisting teams in detailing, documenting, and executing root-cause corrective action strategies with local and global vendor partners.
Working hand-in-hand with internal operational planning divisions to balance demand forecasts, production capacity limitations, and safety stock optimization plans.
Contributing proactively to structural optimization projects targeted at boosting overall supply chain responsiveness and execution velocity.
Skills & Eligibility
Academic Stream: Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or an aligned technical field of study.
Domain Familiarity: Foundational basic understanding of standard manufacturing environments, including elementary concepts surrounding machining processes and molded components production.
Data Processing: High operational proficiency working inside Microsoft Excel or similar data compilation and visualization applications.
Analytical Core: Strong analytical reasoning, data parsing capabilities, and logical problem-solving attributes.
Communication: Crisp, professional verbal and written English communication skills alongside solid group collaboration qualities.
Work Ethic: High commitment toward achieving defined milestone timelines, a result-oriented mindset, and a willingness to operate inside dynamic cross-functional setups.
Prior academic project involvement or standard internship experience evaluating industrial manufacturing setups, logistics, or operational plans.
Familiarity with tracking or mapping key performance indicator metrics like on-time delivery parameters and parts defect rates.
Basic theoretical knowledge regarding continuous improvement structures (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
Prior academic project involvement or standard internship experience evaluating industrial manufacturing setups, logistics, or operational plans.
Familiarity with tracking or mapping key performance indicator metrics like on-time delivery parameters and parts defect rates.
