Key Responsibilities

As an SDET at Cognizant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Test Automation: Actively designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright (C#).
API Testing: Building out and maintaining reliable API automation layers specifically for backend services.
Pipeline Integration: Integrating all automated tests securely into Azure CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery.
Collaboration: Working closely and collaborating with core development teams to enforce and ensure quality across the entire delivery lifecycle directly from the Client office.

To be considered for the SDET – Test Engineer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Qualification: A mandatory B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant technical stream.
Good to Have: Hands-on performance testing experience utilizing tools like JMeter.
Strong test automation experience specifically using Playwright with C# .
Expertise in API Test Automation (including REST services validation and creating automation frameworks).
Solid experience with Azure Cloud environments, focusing on CI/CD pipeline setup and seamless integration.
A firm understanding of automation frameworks, strict version control, and modern Agile delivery practices.
Strong test automation experience specifically using Playwright with C# .
Expertise in API Test Automation (including REST services validation and creating automation frameworks).
Solid experience with Azure Cloud environments, focusing on CI/CD pipeline setup and seamless integration.
A firm understanding of automation frameworks, strict version control, and modern Agile delivery practices.
Candidates must possess a B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline to be eligible for this role.
The mandatory skills include test automation using Playwright with C#, API Test Automation (REST services), and Azure Cloud CI/CD pipeline integration.
