Key Responsibilities

The primary mandate of the Tax Associate is to actively assist EY India’s Tax – Transfer Pricing business units during the client onboarding lifecycle. Key day-to-day functional expectations include:
Project Management & Coordination: Drafting, reviewing, and tracking internal project workplans, operational burn-down charts, and end-to-end service line reports.
New Engagement Support: Managing prerequisite customer background validations, executing primary pricing plans, and processing preliminary data forms across secure internal EY database portals.
Engagement Document Management: Assisting senior consultants with client contracting paperwork, scope-of-work documentation, and corporate compliance logs.
Billing & Code Management: Reviewing budget-to-actual variance reports, running financial metrics analysis, and tracking client collections via internal tracking dashboards.
Operational Excellence: Delivering accurate financial and risk work-products within scheduled timelines while maintaining seamless status communications with lead cross-functional assignment heads.

To qualify for an active interview slot during this off-campus hiring drive, applicants must satisfy the following core criteria:
Academic Qualification: Candidates must hold a completed Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from a recognized university. Graduates from any standard commercial specialization are welcome.
Experience Profile: Structured smoothly for absolute freshers (2026 graduates) or corporate professionals carrying up to 2 years of fundamental experience in corporate accounting, administration, or risk consulting ecosystems.
Behavioral & Professional Competence: A high sense of ethical sensitivity toward corporate codes of conduct, data confidentiality parameters, internal compliance protocols, and proprietary brand values.
Operational Approach: Strong learning agility, readiness to work collaboratively within structural teams, and an automated drive to optimize service delivery schedules by leveraging proprietary EY tools.
